Lipoprotein(a) test
Lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), is a cholesterol-carrying particle whose level is mostly set by your genes.
Read the guideA heart check-up with a cardiologist combines your history, an examination, an ECG and only the tests you need, followed by a clear explanation of your own risk. Extra tests can find small, unimportant findings that lead to more tests. That is why tests are added only when they can change your care.
History: symptoms, medicines, family history and lifestyle.
Examination, blood pressure, weight and waist.
A 12-lead ECG.

If a risk factor is found, the plan explains how to treat it and how to follow it up.
Prices and packages are set by the hospital. The appointment line can tell you what applies to you and your insurance.

Previous ECGs, echo or stress test reports, recent blood tests, and a list of your medicines.
